The mission of the Holt Community Arts Council is to enhance the quality of life for all Holt community members by making the arts a prevalent, accessible, and visible part of the community. 

A strong local arts council will strengthen the sense of community; contribute to the local economy; foster an appreciation for the arts and the artists who are part of our community; and provide opportunities for everyone to learn about and participate in the arts.

The Holt Community Arts Council can make all of these great things happen right here in our community with your support!

• Art events like art fairs and free performances

• Free or low-cost, in-school/after-school art classes and activities in our elementary schools

• Community beautification through the installation of public artworks

• Recognition and support for local artists

• Free or low-cost workshops in visual arts, language arts, and performing arts for amateur artists of all ages

• Scholarships for local students in the visual arts, language arts, and performing arts

• A regularly updated website for local art events

• Local economic development through relationships with the business community, educators, and local government
